अन्तरमन में बसे प्रेम को तुम ऐसे ही झुठलाना
दग्धकंठ से निकले स्वर को सुनकर भी तुम मत आना
किंतु तुम्हारे हर निर्णय का मै सत्कार करूंगा साथी
तुम जितना निर्मम होगे मै उतना प्यार करूंगा साथी
मेरे प्रति बन जाना तुम बन सकते हो जितने क्रूर
मेरी स्मृतियों तक से तुम प्राणप्रिये हो जाना दूर
हर स्थिति के लिए स्वयं को मै तैयार करूंगा साथी
तुम जितना निर्मम होगे मै उतना प्यार करूंगा साथी
मेरे ऊपर वरीयता देकर तुम औरों को चुन लेना
मै इस पर भी राज़ी हूं बस इतना तुम सुन लेना
प्रेम का दरिया मै एकाकी, फिर भी पार करूंगा साथी

In typical Himanshu Bajpai fashion, you have once again shown the world with this creation of yours what selfless love is all about. The way one chooses to express oneself, speaks volumes about the person.. and this poem is oozing with the traits Kavi Him is known for. Wonderfully written. Love the choice of words and the consistency of feel throughout the poem. :)
Tumhari hi boli hui kavita yaad aa gayi. Wo kya thi.. pyaar kiye ja, ghoonse-laat mat dekh!! :P
muft ka ho bhojan toh zaat mat dekho
daan ki ho bachiya toh daant mat dekho
premika bulaaye toh din raat mat dekho
